Young Designers Online is excited to announce their newest and youngest label, Soot! At the tender age of 18, Brisbane born entrepreneur and designer Edwina Sinclair is making waves in the Australian fashion industry with her invigorating and modish label “Soot”.

After launching her debut collection “Lessons in Darkness” in early 2010, Edwina has recently unveiled her second and current collection “Entangled Threads” featuring theatrical, Japanese street- style inspired fashion and accessories.

Completing a course in fashion through the Australian Institute of Fashion Design before she even graduated high school, this young trend- setter’s sights are set on a career in the glamorous fashion industry, following in the footsteps of her costume designer mother.

Between studying fashion full time at the Queensland University of Technology and taking on private pattern making and sewing courses, Edwina still finds time to sketch and stitch her way to the top, recently announcing her debut at the 2010 Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.

Combining an elegant palette of black, white, and ivory with silk cotton and stretch velvet fabrics, Soot is the ladies label for the young at heart, trend- setting woman.

In coming weeks Soot will launch their Spring Summer collection, featuring the label’s first ever high fashion swim range. Keep posted for Soot's accessories to be available on Young Designers Online.
